I am a senior at the University of North Alabama majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I look forward to graduating in December and even more so to starting my career.

This past summer, I interned as a PR/Marketing Consultant for a newly renovated local assisted living facility, Keestone, where I applied both my people skills and marketing strategies. Projects included their Open House and Ribbon Cutting.

I was hired as an Advertisement Sales Representative for UNA's student-ran paper, The Flor-Ala, where I sold and created ads to help local businesses thrive.

While attending Bevill State, I was elected by my peers to serve as the 2009-2010 Student Government Association Vice President of Public Relations where I was held responsible for the promotion of campus events, creating flyers, announcements, and informing the college external and public relations director of postings for the weekly college newsletter, The Bear Facts. Projects included organizing several Relay for Life drives, multiple benefit sales, and helping arrange the Fall and Spring Flings.

Before graduating with my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, I was selected as Commencement Speaker for 2010, where I delivered a speech to over 700 in attendance.
