For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to know more about people, places and things. I read many stories, saw many interviews and often thought of other questions that could have been asked to complete. I discovered that people want to tell their story if they could find someone to listen.
In college, I pursued my passion in broadcasting and theatre as a secondary major while pursuing my degree in medicine. After landing employment at one of the top children's hospitals in the nation, I continued to pursue my passion by becoming the spokesperson for nationally recognized organizations such as the Indianapolis Colts and Castrol Oil.
It wasn't until a personal tragedy that I decided to pursue my true first passion - the one that was on my mind constantly - the one that my heart was telling me to follow. Telling no one, I decide to audition for a position at the local news station. Competing against hundreds of other contestants, I became The Face of MyINDY-TV 23 in Indianapolis. Covering local events, sports, concerts and Indy nightlife, as well as a regular fill-in host for the show IndyStyle, I quickly learned the art of reporting, producing and even editing.
I have a zest for telling the story of every day heroes and celebrities and have had the privilege of interviewing many such as Ann Curry, Will Forte, O.A.R and more.
I pride myself on my professionalism, exceptional work ethic and commitment.
