Danielle Cain

Danielle has been a working theatre artist in the North Bay for over 15 years. She has worked as voice & text coach for productions at Actors Theatre, 6th Street Playhouse, Sonoma County Repertory Theater, Shakespeare Napa Valley, Sebastopol Shakespeare Festival, Napa Valley College and Sonoma State University. She was an Associate Artistic Director at Actors Theatre, Managing/Casting Director for 6th Street Playhouse and is on the drama faculties at SSU and NVC. Danielle has done private speech, text analysis and audition coaching since graduating from college. She has directed shows at Cinnabar Theater, Napa Valley College and Sonoma State University. As an actor, favorite shows include Angels in America, Arcadia, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Skylight, The Real Thing, Enchanted April, Much Ado About Nothing, Taming of the Shrew and Anna in Boston Marriage, for which she received a 2009 BATCC nomination for Principal Performance. She trained at the British American Drama Academy, American Conservatory Theatre and received her BFA in acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
