Dani received her PhD in Applied Demography and MS in Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Her interests in the field include childhood asthma, lead poisoning, environmental health, child custody and support policies, and perceptions of single parenting.

Dani is a Director of Decision Science Analytics at USAA where she collaborates with multiple teams to produce household deepening analytics and forecasting. She also performs analyses and modeling to determine drivers of USAA's membership.

Dani currently mentors junior analysts on her team, participates in summer intern events, and has managed clinical and business analysts in her previous roles. She also contributes as a reviewer for the Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved.

When Dani isn't analyzing and researching, she likes to play board games, listen to history podcasts, and read epidemiology books. Her mother thinks she's creepy because she has an entire bookshelf devoted to historical diseases. She lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband, three children, and three dogs.
