A Pleasure to Have in Class

Danielle Knapp is more than just “a pleasure to have in class” as many teachers have described her as. Despite her quietness, she is not shy, and once she gets to know you she can somehow make you wish she would talk less, despite her witty commentary. Living with a special needs sibling has taught her responsibility at a young age, along with patience and compassion for others. This compassion has lead her to want to pursue a degree in Neuroscience. Taking several AP classes, Honors classes, and an otherwise rigorous schedule on top of being a part of NHS, she has learned how to manage her time wisely and the value of taking on challenges. Danielle has been on the varsity tennis team since her junior year, and started playing tennis as a freshman. Currently, she is helping teach middle school kids how to play tennis through a community ed program. Overall, Danielle is a bright, determined, and ambitious young woman.
