Danielle Wu graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor's degree in art history and archaeology in 2014. Her research focuses on contemporary Chinese art, particularly work by women artists. Other research interests include China's recent additions to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list and the impending effects of the touristic gaze upon Chinese identity, both of which are emerging concerns of cultural institutions worldwide.
