Since I first used the internet at age 11, I've been deeply involved in online innovation. At 16, I launched my first brand, "Stargate-Project" and gained recognition in the Stargate movie & tv seires community. I was even invited to the set in Vancouver, B.C. in 2006 where I met cast & crew of the tv series like Mr. “MacGyver” Richard Dean Anderson and Amanda Tapping as well as Ben Browder.
After selling "Stargate-Project" I continued my career by studying at BUW and graduated with honors in "Print and Media Technologies" in 2010 after publishing a thesis on the changing online content distribution and marketing due to new technologies like E-Book readers and tablets (get as E-Book). I also did a project on the future of newspapers, which was also well received and has valid points even today (get as E-Book).
During my studies, I worked as an online consultant and served as an editor in chief for a consulting company in the European print and media industry. I became known for my expertise in online development, web-to-print, and innovative online concepts.
I took a break after becoming a father in 2012 and changed my last name to Mittendorf. I then led the online department at Weirich Medien, contributing significantly to online solutions for supermarket retailers in Germany.
From 2015 to 2019, I served as a lead project manager for E-Commerce and CMS at Fressnapf.
In 2019, I founded "DigiVoice.io," a Voice Design + Development Studio. There, I provided consultation, development, and design for Voice Apps on platforms like Amazon Alexa, Google, and Bixby. I achieved recognition as a Bixby Premier Developer, Amazon Recommended Agency, and won three awards for my Bixby Capsules. My Amazon Alexa Skills consistently ranked in the top 10 lists across multiple countries, reaching over 10 million users annually. In 2020, I was named an Alexa Champion. My side-project, "LEVOOBA: Learn. Voice. Battle." was a finalist in Amazon Alexa EdTech Challenge EMEA 2020 and won the "Best Kids Skill" Award in 2021.
In May 2020, I sold DigiVoice.io and merged with Beyto GmbH, a leading German Voice Agency, to become CTO and Partner. After 2.5 years, Beyto was acquired by the MUUUH! Group in Osnabrück, Niedersachsen, Germany. I joined the team as a Principal Conversational AI. Just one year later, in November 2023, I am now leading a team of 10 innovative Conversational AI experts as Director Conversational AI at MUUUH! Next and Future of Voice in Berlin.
