Formerly an HR officer, Daniel successfully switched careers in a couple of years and is now a full-time freelance travel photographer, a photography and Lightroom instructor and photo-tour leader.
His 5-language speaking skills and multicultural background lead him to different countries with his trusty camera, documenting cultures and traditions while sampling various street food and never missing the opportunity to capture a dramatic cloudy sunset shot.
His work has appeared in various online and print publications such as Matador Network, AFAR, AsiaRooms, the Smithsonian and Makeshift magazine. He also works with clients such as Booking.com, AirBnB and different Tourism Boards.
