Health Educator, Student, and Founder in Ile-Ife, Nigeria
My name is Daniel Olufemi.
I am a writer, public speaker, quality health and education advocate with keen interest in preventive medicine and access to quality care in marginalized communities in Africa.
I am the founder of Health Accelerator Africa. A youth led, health and empowerment organization committed to connecting health, preventing noncommunicable diseases in marginalized communities in Africa and building leaders to solve health most pressing challenges.
I am currently a final year physiotherapy student at Obefemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and Project Management Essential Certified from the Management and Strategy Institute.
During my early undergraduate years, I represented Rebook Africa as ambassador in OAU, coordinating the disbursement of Scholarship funds, organization activities, and impact projects. I also served as department welfare director, with a high level of output.
In 2020, I was selected as a fellow of the Generalkopho leadership Fellowship, where I received the Emerging Leader Award and initiated the Crafting Young Program that equips 21 youths with the required skills needed to build their career.
I am an Associate ambassador at the Initiative for Sound Education Relationship and Health (ISERH) and have been privileged to facilitate Elective courses in 4 consecutive cohorts at the ISERH Undergraduate Studies Program with over 1,000 impacts spread across Africa. I was selected as Osun changemaker in the New Voice Citizen Fellowship by the Raising New Voice (RNV) in partnership with Fredrich Ebert Stiftung (FES).
In 2021, I was selected as Global Youth Ambassador by Theirworld and World Literacy Foundation and I executed the Literacy for African Child Project, an initiative aimed at inspiring and empowering young secondary school students to pursue higher education of learning. I'm a fellow at the Clinton Global Initiative University and serve as Dean of Management and Strategy at the Global Hero Leadership Academy.
I am currently looking for research collaboration in health, project execution and writing intern/jobs.
