Daniel Prechtel

A native of Ohio, Daniel Prechtel has lived and worked in Atlanta since 2004. An accomplished executive, he has served as president of companies that assist entrepreneurs and small business owners. As president of OneSource Venture Capital, LLC, Daniel Prechtel matches qualified venture capitalists with entrepreneurs in need of funding to expand their operations. OneSource Venture Capital, LLC focuses on the first and second stages of business funding, normally up to $5 million.

When he is not working, he enjoys sailing and cycling. Mr. Prechtel supports the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, which repurposes abandoned railways into bicycling trails to promote physical activity and wellness throughout the United States. One of his favorite long-distance trails, the Silver Comet Trail, extends from Atlanta, Georgia, to Huntsville, Alabama. He also shares his passion for cycling by donating used and nearly-new bicycles to Goodwill stores in and around Atlanta.

Mr. Prechtel studied marketing at Akron University in Ohio. He is a fan of college football, and especially follows the teams of The Ohio State University and the University of Georgia.
