Daniel Rapo

Daniel currently works as Virtual Systems Solution Owner at Volvo Parts with overall global responsibility to lead, maintain and develop the Virtual Systems as well as Volvo Group System Owner for 3DVIA.

Before joining Volvo Parts, Daniel has been working at Volvo IT as a maintenance manager, project coordinator, team leader and software architect, managing Volvo Bus product development environment, maintenance team as well as managing Dassault Systemes platform configuration architecture for Volvo Group.

Daniel is an experienced Maintenance manager/Team leader with several years' of experience in software development and design, infrastructure, project and team management, system maintenance, requirements, delivery coordination, within automotive industry.

In his earlier assignments, Daniel has been working with goods industry, developing system for logistics (Trucks area) and within packaging industry, developing Customer relationship management (CRM) system.

As a person Daniel is well organized, cooperative and he works proactively creating business opportunities, highly aware of business objectives and strategy.

Daniels interests are sport-cars, travelling, skiing and outdoor activities, which he share with his fiancé.
