I'm a journalist currently residing in the south of England. I've tended to work in fields relating to politics and international affairs, having attained a BA in journalism prior to the completion of post graduate degrees in human rights and global politics.

I've written on myriad subjects, from environmental concerns in Latin America to human rights abuses in Bahrain to violations of international humanitarian law during Israel's Operation Protective Edge. I believe that journalism needs to base itself on sound and relevant principles, where real news, real issues and real politics take precedence over sensationalism and superficiality.

I'm also a committed vegan, being an advocate of the works of the abolitionist Gary Francione, as well as a left utilitarian and humanist.
