Daniel Richard Payne

With over 15 years’ experience I am an experienced leader of IT professionals.

After leaving university in the late 90’s with a BSc in Computer Science I started off my career working for the Housing Corporation as software developer, over the years through sheer grit and determination I progressed into management and mostly recently into senior leadership with Thatcham, the world renowned
automotive research centre.

Supporting my extensive and on-going IT knowledge working at Thatcham has given me the opportunity to develop a wealth of knowledge in vehicle safety, security and especially crash repair, the solutions and standards used and methodologies.

I believe you can only get long-term results by forming teams where the individuals have skillsets and personalities that are carefully aligned. My teams understand my values and I respect theirs. I pay my teams fair market tracked salaries where incentives are balanced to nurture sustainable behaviours.
