Luxury executive, Venture capitalist, and Executive scholar

I am a venture capitalist and senior luxury fashion executive. I am a founding member and partner of KingsBay Capital, a cross-border venture capital firm based in San Francisco and Seoul. I also oversee corporate and business development at MCM, a German luxury brand. I also teach at Korea University on adjunct basis while I read law at Oxford University. Prior to that, I served in various executive and management roles at Hanwha Group (DreamPlus), Korea Telecom (Strategic Investment Group), Daesung Group (BiNEXT), CJ Group (NetMarble) and Accenture (Strategy & Business Architect Practice Group).I have published several books and am a frequent speaker around the globe on the subjects related to innovation policy, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, reputation risk, alternative investment, future of work and so forth. I am a Cambridge Policy Fellow at the University of Cambridge and Fellow at Salzburg Global Seminar. I was nominated to be a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum at Davos in 2016 and also also honored to become a Yale World Fellow under Yale University's former President Levin's legacy in 2013. I am open to new speech, research and advisory engagements on a select basis.
