A longtime Sunriver, Oregon, medical professional, Dr. Daniel Skotte leads High Desert Family Medicine and provides quality internal medical care for patients of all ages. Board certified in his field, Dr. Daniel Skotte has engaged as a team physician with a variety of high school sports teams and emphasizes a whole-patient approach in providing electrocardiograms and active-care physical therapy.

An alumnus of the United States Air Force (USAF) Academy with a BS in international relations, Dr. Skotte received his DO from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship at Eastmoreland General Hospital in Portland. Having commenced his military career as a cost analysis officer with Space Command, he ultimately served as the commander of the 146th Wing Medical Group stationed at the Channel Islands Air National Guard Station in California. Dr. Daniel Skotte also has engaged as an aeromedical examiner with the Federal Aviation Administration and admissions liaison officer with the USAF Academy.

By the time of his retirement from the USAF, Dr. Skotte had served for 50 continuous years and achieved distinction as not only the longest-serving USAF Academy graduate, but also the longest-serving USAF officer of all time.
