A little about me:
I am a Registered Dietitian but not a typical one. I am versed in nutritional management of a variety of clinical conditions, but also realize the importance of prevention and doing what works best, not just what is mandated!
I am active in research - received my Master’s of Nutritional Science from McGill University & currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from McGill (to complete end of 2015).
I have consulted for thousands of individuals, companies, media outlets and athletes and have helped them all achieve their goals (not mine)! That's what I'm about!
Why on earth would someone want to spend 10 years of their life studying food you ask? Well, I’ll keep my story brief so as to not bore the 6 people who are viewing my website (Thanks family).
I was always driven to maximize my activity level, thinking as a child that if I stopped, my family history of MS would catch up with me. As silly as this sounds, I honestly believe that if we don’t use it, we lose it, so we must aim to be as active as we possibly can daily. I am active in Japanese Jiu Jitsu, MMA, whole body fitness conditioning and hiking.
Anyway, to conclude, I will leave you with these final thoughts by me, about me. I am like you. I work full time, have my own business to run, am pursuing a PhD in Human Nutrition and have a ever-growing relationship with my beautiful wife and together we have a gorgeous 1.5 year old daughter to nurture!! These things... ALL. TAKE. TIME. Therefore, I'm endeavoring to research and share/teach what I most need to learn, the most efficient and doable system for complete nutrition and fitness strategies to get lean and be effective in my daily life! Even, if you're not pursuing higher education or are single, I'm sure you can relate to the business of my daily life. Whatever your days are filled with if health, longevity and leanness are your goals, then you need to get it done and efficiently! That's what I'm about!
