I grew up in a family that didn’t have much, but we had hard work and grit. My parents did everything they could to support four kids, even if that meant taping up couches or driving cars with no air conditioning through Florida summers. Because of that, I started working early — mowing lawns, cleaning houses, delivering pizzas, washing dishes, and later working at Circuit City. Those jobs shaped my work ethic more than anything.
A series of knee surgeries in my teens introduced me to physical therapy, and with my mom being a nurse, healthcare felt like a natural path. I ended up volunteering around 700 hours at my local hospital before graduating high school. That experience opened my eyes to what it means to help people.
I studied health administration, became a physical therapist assistant, and spent about a decade in patient care before moving into leadership. My goal has always been simple: keep learning, treat people well, and build systems that help others succeed. My experiences — from growing up poor to buying and improving homes as an adult — have taught me the value of stability and opportunity. I try to bring that perspective into every role I take on.
