Daniel Wagstaff

Daniel is passionate about being an innovator and excels at solution based selling. From his early days in business he has always opted for the road less travelled, preferring instead to cut his teeth in emerging markets and leading edge solutions. Daniel started full-time with Pocketstop in October 2007 to be part of the new wave and help take his own passion for texting and convert it into a job. As handset capabilities have evolved, so have the solutions Daniel helps implement with his clients. He is passionate about helping companies make sense of the confusion, take advantage of this amazing medium and ultimately Mobilize their brand. In his role with Pocketstop, Daniel is responsible for sales, marketing and business development.

He has 14 years of experience in business operations, sales and account management. At his previous job with Aerotek, the largest privately held recruiting company in the World, he gained 10 years of experience in business operations, sales, hiring, training, and P&L.; He was the Director of Business Operations for 4 years and was responsible for a business unit comprising of 45 employees and over $22 million in Revenue. His responsibilities included leading and effectively managing front office/business operations, while strategizing and driving growth through hiring and developing successful teams. When accepting the Directorship, the operation had both negative revenue growth and profitability which lead to the highest attrition in the company. Daniel accepted the challenge and guided the team to an all-time high in profitability and revenue growth. He opened a second location and Aerotek was able to capitalize on a previously untapped new market. This resulted in the Operation being ranked 6th in the nation shortly after his departure.
