Dan Weil

In August 2011, Dan Weil began his 7th year as a public school educator in Mid-Missouri. Dan currently substitutes for teachers in two two public school districts and one private college preparatory school in Mid-Missouri. They are, the Columbia Public School District in Columbia, MO, the Southern Boone County School District in Ashland, MO., and the Columbia Independent School located in Columbia, MO, as well. In addition, Dan has been working towards a teaching certification in Special Education and a Masters Degree at Columbia College. Prior to his teaching career, Dan worked at KRCG-TV 13 (CBS) in the Jefferson City/Columbia, MO television market. He directed KRCG's 1 hour morning news program from its conception, as well as directing the Noon newscast along with special events for the station. Prior to that, Dan served as a director/production assistant at KMIZ-TV 17 (ABC) in Columbia, MO.
