Daniel Zumino is investor in and counsel for young, high potential enterprises in the area of web services and technologies. His current holdings include a variety of e-commerce and web services companies as well as web-related enabling software editors, located in Europe and North America. These companies have raised over $50 million in Seed and A financing. One of his earliest investments, Vistaprint, is listed on the Nasdaq (VPRT).
Daniel Zumino is a contributor to the entrepreneurship programs of HEC business school, and an associate of ffSilver Fund and BAMS Angels Fund.
Holding a degree from HEC Paris and a Stanford MBA, Daniel Zumino's background includes: partner and Executive Committee member of the Boston Consulting Group, CEO of the Consumer division of Kaysersberg (French leader for disposable paper products, now Georgia Pacific), Chief Financial Officer of GSI (computer services company, specialized in application outsourcing and business process software, acquired in 1995 by Automatic Data Processing).
He was founder and first President of HEC-Partenaires, an early-stage venture capital fund financed by 600 HEC alumni in 1986.
Daniel Zumino was named ‘Investor of the year’ in 2005 by the upscale magazine « Le Nouvel Economiste ».
