Danita Rountree Green (R. Satiafa) is a writer and researcher who works in the fields of African American Folklore and Women's Studies. She is a mentor and therapeutic art specialist that counsels women and teens in crisis. Her previous titles include Broom Jumping: A Celebration of Love (1992) and Grandmother’s Gift of Memories (1997).
Love Locked Down is her first novel and deals with the punitive effects of incarceration on society. Voted Top 10 Best Books on Relationships for 2011 on Amazon.com
