In more than 35 years of practice as an architect, Daniel Koplowitz has created a body of work of sublime quality. Preserving historic fabric while creating new architecture of lasting beauty and function, his projects consistently achieve their design intent while meeting project goals and client objectives.
Mr. Koplowitz routinely seeks challenging assignments: from the gut renovation of modern lobbies to the restoration of Grand Central Terminal; from the renovation of apartments and homes to the design of a pool house or a simple shed. His work has fine examples of custom furniture and light fixture design, as well.
Multi-disciplinary in his practice, Koplowitz holds a B.A. degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Masters of Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation from the University of Florida.
Registered in both New York and New Jersey, Mr. Koplowitz works primarily in New York City, Westchester and Rockland Counties, Long Island and Northern New Jersey.
