Daniel Laster first joined Gensler Houston as a summer intern in 2011. After receiving his M.Arch, he returned to Houston in 2014 as an architectural designer. His skills include advancing architectural projects from concept into schematic design into construction documents, interior design, Revit, Grasshopper, and 3D Printing. He has taught university courses in Rhino, Revit, and hand drawing, and is a visiting critic at the University of Houston.

Daniel earned his M.Arch from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a graduate fellowship and assistantship, and was the annual class recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Medal for leadership. He is the co-founder of Design Technology Lab, a new initiative to foster and support a digital design culture at Gensler Houston.
