A charitable individual, Dan Lusica devotes much of his time to altruistic pursuits. Dan Lusica established a merit- and financial-based scholarship for graduate engineering students at the California State University Department of Engineering and Computer Science. He also created the first Tae Kwon Do after-school program for developmentally disabled children in Santa Clarita, California. Currently operating as CEO and Training Director at the Tae Kwon Do Enrichment Center USA in Santa Clarita, Dante Lusica established the nonprofit facility Build-Up On Horseback. Based in Canyon County, California, the organization works with developmentally impaired children. Dante Lusica also formed a nonprofit care facility for the elderly in North Hollywood, California. Among his other humanitarian efforts, Dante Lusica donates his time to sending letters and care packages to U.S. troops serving in the Middle East throughout the year. Dante Lusica also organizes and prepares food packages for those in need in the Los Angeles area during Thanksgiving. Pursuing a successful career in Tae Kwan Do, Dan Lusica trained at the Chung Do Kwan school. The school hosts two Tae Kwon Do tournaments under the leadership of Dan Lusica, including the Pan-Am Euro Cup TaeKwonDo Championship and the World Invitational TaeKwonDo Championship. Dan Lusica’s dojang aims to use Tae Kwon Do to instill students with discipline, confidence, and self-defense skills. Dan Lusica attended The Fielding Institute of Clinical Psychology and earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Century University. Dan Lusica also attended Yonsei University, the oldest private university in Korea. Following the completion of his studies, Dan Lusica taught in the Master’s program at the College of Engineering and Computer Science at California State University, Northridge. In his free time, Dan Lusica enjoys reading, camping, hunting, and deep-sea fishing. His favorite authors include John Steinbeck and Ernest Hemingway.
