My Name is Dan McQuillan, and I’m glad you stopped by.
All my life I’ve loved entertainment, screen media, marketing, business and entrepreneurship It’s in my blood. If it’s in yours too, or if you just want to learn more about screen media, business and the world of advertising, or about how my business can help yours, then you’ve come to the right place.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from my passionate interest in sailing tall ships, it’s that you always have to be on the lookout. Good things and bad things are always out there, just over the horizon. Spy the good things with enough lead time and you are ready to capitalize when you make contact; spot the bad things, and you are able to divert your course to avoid costly encounters. Run-ins with pirates do not often turn out well, especially with today’s modern sailing ships which, for the most part, are not equipped with side cannons.
And believe me, the pirates are out there, scouring the choppy waters of the business world in search of new bounties. This is what drove me to create Quill and Ink Media, a one-stop media and online marketing solution for e-commerce and traditional brick-and-mortar businesses. When I saw the fees that a non-profit I was working for had to pay for a website, I was so outraged that it drove me to action. I am here to save you from similar exorbitant fees and provide your business with first-class services at sensible rates. These services include branding and re-branding, producing print media and explainer videos, live action videos, editing, and managing online advertising campaigns. Check out Quill and Ink Media’s website here.
I am also here to network, share industry knowledge and experience, and connect with those who share my interests which include film, television, media, marketing, business, entrepreneurship, and, as I mentioned earlier, sailing tall ships. If you see a skull and crossbones flag heading your way, that’s usually a sign that you want to divert.
Have something you’d like to share? Shoot me an email, I’d love to hear from you.
