Father and Husband first, I am a middle aged weekend warrior who loves to be in the woods. The family hikes, hunts, swims and camps as much as we can. We are all very active, having hobbies we share, as well as hobbies that are all our own!
My son is nine, and is very much into Tang Soo Do at Da Silva – Simmonds Karate in Brunswick, MD. He also is following in his old man’s foot steps and is running cross country as part of the Carroll Manor Cross Country team.
My wife believe it or not is a fencer and practices and competes with the Out of Nowhere Fencing Club.
I love to run trails. I have been running since I was my son’s age, and it is still a large part of my life. I recently have started to dabble in the world of Ultra running and have fallen in love with the races, the people, the trails, and the whole mentality that almost all ultra-runners have.
