Professionally, I have been in the educational field for 21 years. I have served in the capacity as an elementary teacher for 9 years, instructional coach at the middle school level for 2 years, elementary school vice principal for 2 years, and elementary principal for 9 years. My passion is leading a school to educate our students in the 21st century to develop the knowledge and skills that prepare them for advanced college and careers in a global society.

Educationally, I have obtained the following degrees: BS in Liberal Studies, MS in Educational Administration, and Ed.D in Organizational Leadership.

Personally, I am married to my wonderful husband Matt. I have 4 children: Tyler (18 years old), Jordan (13 years old), and twins Zack and Zoie (10 years old), and our cat (Little Honeys).

A digital presence is essential as a teacher because it represents a good role model to students online. For students, it will impact their future.
