Dan New is a middle / high school teacher and instructional coach at WG Murdoch school in Crossfield Alberta. WG Murdoch is a small rural school which is part of the Rocky View School Division. Dan received his Bachelors of Education from the University of Alberta with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Technology and his Masters in Educational Leadership with his research focused on personalized learning and High School Redesign. As an educator, Dan focuses on creating educational environments where communities of students construct their own understanding through content creation and discovery.
