I'm a rising Wellesley sophomore who is gung-ho about everything from the Chicago Blackhawks to lasagna to dubstep. I love European chocolate and ice cream and am a big fan of The Good Wife, The Big Bang Theory, The Office, and Project Runway.
As an Economics and Russian Area Studies major at Wellesley, I used journalism to combine these interests. I'm an editor for The International Relations Council Journal, layout editor for The Wellesley Globalist, and News Editor for The Wellesley News, for which I wrote about 30 articles this year.
Besides building my writing and editing talent, I regularly help my community. I will be an Academic Peer Tutor next year and am responsible for helping first-years get adjusted to the Wellesley College life. I volunteered for 500 hours at Key Club International and for my church in high school. I am also helping build Acta Sanctorum, a non-profit organization based in Chicago, through editing.
