Dan Nichter
Ohio resident Dan Nichter wears many hats, as a realtor, adjunct professor, and volunteer. He possesses 25 years of experience in business leadership, real estate, and financial management, earning his real estate and broker’s licenses while still in college.He is retired, but , while at Buyers Source Realty Group in Hilliard, Ohio, Dan Nichter specialized in sales, leasing, and consulting for residential and commercial properties. In addition, he has served as a construction Project Manager. Dan Nichter’s teaching experience began more than 20 years ago, when he joined Columbus State Community College as an Adjunct Professor.
He served as an Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University, where he instructed undergraduates on such subjects as real estate law, marketing, accounting, and principals of management. Previously, Dan Nichter directed the Franklin County Development Department and its $11.2-million budget. Supervising 16 employees, Mr. Nichter worked on numerous projects, created a business plan, and represented the county at various public meetings and hearings. Prior to this service, Dan Nichter held positions as Chief Deputy in the Franklin County Recorder’s Office and as Delinquency Analyst in the Real Estate Tax Delinquency Division of the Treasurer’s Office. In the latter role, he improved the collection rate of overdue taxes, negotiated payments, and assisted when prosecution became warranted.
Dan Nichter graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, where he studied business, accounting, finance, management, and real estate, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He had held memberships in the local Columbus Board of Realtors abd the National Association of Realtors. A volunteer at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Dan Nichter also supports Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Columbus and St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church. Apart from pursuing professional goals and volunteering, he enjoys golf, baseball, softball, and Ohio State football.
