Dr Danni Pearce

I completed my PhD at the University of Worcester (2014) investigating the terrestrial response to the Last Glacial Interglacial Transition (LGIT) in the Scottish Southern Uplands....and I loved it!

I have a general interest in the pan-North Atlantic during this period and I'm particularly interested in reconstructing glaciation and palaeoclimatic conditions during the Younger Dryas (c. 12.9 - 11.7 ka BP) using a combination of empirical data and numerical modelling.

I am also working on an European Union funded project investigating transitional glaciation in the Kola Peninsula, NW Arctic Russia. Field work started this summer!
