Stanford, CA | Boston, MA
Danny is currently a student at Stanford University. Originally from Boston, MA, Danny decided to go out and head west for college and has definitely made the right decision.
He became interested in medicine through his mother's stories of being a nurse back in China. Hearing story after story about his mother's altruistic passion for helping others, he too has inherited that same passion and drive for helping others through medicine.
Besides medicine, Danny is also interested in studying languages, a passion that actually spawned from the embarassment of not being able to converse at the dinner table in middle school. From his parents, he has inherited Cantonese. From his high school, he has picked up Latin and Mandarin. From college, he has embraced Japanese. From his free time, he has explore Vietnamese, Korean, Spanish, and hopes to learn much more!
At Stanford, Danny is currently studying Biology with a Minor in Modern Languages. He would like to explore the field of Alzheimer's disease, a topic he explored through a high school internship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Although Danny has made the huge move across the country for college, he ultimately would like to return to the amazing city of Boston to contiue his goal of being a doctor.
