Sports are my life. I watch them, play them, and hope to study them. Everything about sports interests me. I’ve been to both the NFL and MLB hall of fames. I’ve been to 12 MLB stadiums, only 18 left. I take road trips every year to see some sporting events. My essays in high school were written about the 1994 World Cup, and college athletes receiving improper benefits. Conversations with my friends are about 80 percent sports and 20 percent girls. We actually talk about nothing else! I’ve been devastated by the Braves and Falcons too many times to count. I still watch every game I can. Bandwagon fans annoy me to death, as do Saints, Heat, Nationals, and any New York sports fans. I’ve seen Atlanta teams play in opposing cities 6 times. The Atlanta team has only won one of those games. I consider it a bit of a curse. ESPN is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I fall asleep and wake up to Sportcenter. I watch sports all day. My dad shares my love of sports. My mom deals with it. She has her own time to watch Lifetime movies. Both my parents work for the public school system. That’s both a blessing and a curse. I’m a proud new member of Dawg Nation at UGA. Can’t wait for Saturdays at Sanford Stadium.
