My journey as a software engineer began with an idea... I wanted to create an online classical guitar school.

With google as my teacher, I hacked together some HTML, CSS, and javascript, and classicalguitar101.org was born. Surprisingly, within a few months, my website had over 20,000 unique monthly visitors, and I was teaching Skype guitar lessons to students in countries ranging from Scotland to Afghanistan.

I was hooked! I wanted to make more web apps.

So I enrolled in the programming bootcamp Hack Reactor to develop my coding skills. Here, I worked with engineers from Twitter, Adobe, Walmart Labs, OK Cupid, and talented students from all over the world. I immersed myself in learning both front-end and back-end javascript, with technologies like Backbone.js, Angular.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, jQuery, D3, and MongoDB.

Since then, I worked on a number of exciting contract projects with companies including Hack Reactor, NodePrime, and ClientSuccess. For instance, I built an Android app that helps contractors organize their projects, and I built a chrome extensions that makes it easier for people to speed read web pages.

Now, I am searching for a full-time engineering position in San Francisco. If anyone knows of an exciting position, please do get in touch!
