Danny Olmstead has over twenty years of experience in the California construction and real estate industries and has had a lifelong interest in and passion for business. During his high-school years, he excelled in business course work and was accepted to the University of the Pacific on a dean’s scholarship. He went on to distinguish himself at the university and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in finance in 2001.
Concurrent with his degree work, Danny Olmstead served as the vice president of general operations for WDO, Inc. In this position, he was responsible for guiding clients through the design and construction processes for custom homes. Through hard work and dedication, he ensured that customers were satisfied. He received numerous letters of appreciation for his efforts.
In 2008, Mr. Olmstead established East Bay Holding Company, Inc. East Bay Holding Company acquires, renovates, and subdivides non-Ellis Act duplexes in San Francisco and develops empty lots as well. At East Bay Holding Company, Mr. Olmstead was responsible for overseeing all aspects of property acquisitions, managing contractors, and selling property to end users. He left East Bay Holding Company in 2010. He has also been a passive investor in Open Path Investments, LLC since 2013.
In his spare time, Mr. Olmstead enjoys reading the Wall Street Journal and sponsoring up-and-coming Formula One drivers. He studies business matters avidly and has read all of Warren Buffett's annual reports from the 60’s until present day. He is currently learning to cook.
