Danny Simard
Realtor and Real Estate Broker in Los Angeles, California
In exploring what I wanted to be throughout my twenties, I was drawn towards marketing and sales. I really like the idea of presenting great solutions to problems. I tried various sales jobs, but struggled with a common core attribute: the sales methods. All too often, “successful” salespeople are those who excel at manipulating their clients to make a decision after a few moments or just a few hours of interaction. I was put in this position several times, and it never ceased making me feel uncomfortable, even immoral about what I was doing. I’m happy I spent some time exploring sales in different industries because it allowed me to figure out what industries I didn’t want to work.
Since becoming a Realtor in the summer of 2014, I’ve explored residential sales as well as commercial leases. I’ve found that witnessing the joy and elation when my clients get our offer accepted -- and especially the subsequent closing of escrow -- is infectious. I’m very thankful I’ve had the opportunity to guide my clients towards homeownership by advising through the challenges and offering guidance throughout.
Many industry professionals claim that successful sales is about relationships, and I strongly believe that this holds true in Real Estate more than ever. We will work together for much longer than just a few hours; from start to finish, homebuyers need on average six months to find and purchase their home. More than ever, buyers need the guidance of Realtors today. All of the resources are abundant thanks to the internet, but for most buyers, the sheer volume of information and amount of critical decisions to make is overwhelming. This is where expertise comes in. Sometimes, you just need a reliable recommendation or a direction to pursue.
The Real Estate process is like solving a puzzle to me. Every buyer, seller, property, and neighborhood is unique; matching the pieces up results in smiles and hugs, and that’s what gives me great satisfaction.
I pride myself on my patience and perseverance, and most importantly, I pride myself on integrity. Trust is hard to earn, and impossible to retrieve once lost. I’d love to earn your trust and be your guide through this exciting and important process. Shoot me a message or give me a call and let’s get your questions answered.
Cheers,
Danny
