Danny Ward

Hi there! I’m Danny Ward. I’m a British postdoctoral research scientist living in Basel, Switzerland.

I work at the Biozentrum, University of Basel in the department of Infection Biology. I research microbial pathogenesis with a particular focus on bacterial virulence nanomachines (type III and type VI secretion systems).

I have a keen interest in science communication and outreach, I enjoy engaging with new people about my work and about science as a whole.
