The company was founded 23 years ago by Dan Ryan, who continues to serve as its Chief Executive Officer. He learned the construction business by working with his father after graduating from James Madison University, and he built his first home in 1990. He and his family company support charitable causes, including the Toys for Tots drive, and make contributions to the United Way.
