Dan Safier

Founder, president, and chief executive officer of Prado Group, Inc., Dan Safier complements his career in the real estate industry with his background in law. A licensed California attorney, Safier oversees the San Francisco Bay Area asset and property management company’s investments in high density, in-fill marketplaces by finding properties that will produce high returns. Among his various long- and short-term strategies, Dan Safier leverages marketing to increase traffic to Prado Group's units. Before starting this business, he held executive positions with AMB Property Company and Prometheus Real Estate Group, Inc.

Along with his responsibilities at Prado Group, Safier sits on numerous boards. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, he sits on the Policy Advisory Board of the school’s Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics. He also holds directorships with the Jim Joseph Foundation and SPUR (the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association). Moreover, Dan Safier chairs the San Francisco Jewish Community Endowment Fund. Other groups that rely on his guidance include the Urban Development Mixed-Use Council of the Urban Land Institute, Lambda Alpha International, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
