Dan Stout

I am currenlty working as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah as I work on fininshing my PhD in Civil Engineering, Water Resources. My research pertains to evaluating the sub-surface stress and strain distributions related to sub-surface fluid injection and extraction.

My passions include traveling, learning about new cultures, research and riding my Honda Shadow motorcycle. I have been involved in charity activities my whole life and for the last half decade have really focussed on child abuse prevention. I am a supporter of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), and spend much of my free time riding with my biker bothers and sisters working to bring social awarenes about the long term effects of abuse.
