Dan Strollo
Born in Lexington, Mass in the early 70's I spent the first dozen years on this earth bouncing between the suburbs of Boston and Silicon Valley. My father was in the computer industry and while that provided me the advantage the Internet at home since birth and experience programming in Smalltalk back when I was eight... I did not embrace the world of 1’s & 0’s. In the late 70's I vividly remember arguing with a group of grown men at Palo Alto Research Center that the world needed digital cameras and they would replace film cameras someday. These geniuses invented the fax machine, computer mouse and Ethernet, but couldn’t grasp that a computerized camera would be attractive to consumers. Decades later I still find myself a champion of using technology to improve life, commerce and everything in between. Having had an email address since the mid-80’s and experiences promoting one of the country’s largest private companies in the www’s infancy, I bring to the table a unique perspective of business, sales & marketing and problem solving that translates to bottom line dollars and superior customer experiences. Today I am focused on saving lives with the In Control Family Foundation and enjoy life with my bride and four young children. Tomorrow, who knows….
