Dante Recalde

Dr. Dante Fernando Recalde Melo is a dedicated senior executive with a passion for blending technical expertise and commercial insight to achieve meaningful results in the energy sector. As Vice President of Solutions (APAC) at Energy Exemplar, he has played a key role in driving regional growth and success, contributing to a transformative billion-dollar private equity transaction in 2024. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, Dante thrives on building cross-cultural partnerships and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions for government and private sector clients.

Throughout his career, Dante has had the privilege of creating and growing high-performing engineering teams. He successfully built and led a regional team of 25 engineers, data analysts, and energy modelers, focusing on pre-sales and customer engagement for multinational corporations, public utilities, and energy giants. His leadership has driven significant milestones, including a 10x regional revenue increase and consistent year-on-year growth. He is honored to have received the Customer Rockstar Award (2022) and the Xemplary Leadership Award (2023) in recognition of his contributions to operational excellence and team development.

Dante holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and advanced degrees from National Cheng Kung University. He is deeply committed to fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration within his teams and the broader energy industry.
