Dante Kennedy is a producer, singer, song writer and dancer from Philadelphia, PA. He has made a name for himself playing drums for Travie McCoy of The Gym Class Heroes. Dante has created something very unique with his productions that showcase his singing and songwriting abilities. Featured in Billboard Magazine (April '16) as an "emerging artist," Dante has embarked on iheartmedia's Jingle Ball Tour, performed on Ellen DeGeneres, The Queen Latifah Show and a few award shows as the drummer for Travie McCoy. Also an affiliate of Bat Squad Records, an imprint founded by The Gym Class Heroes front man, Dante Kennedy was featured on the song "LoveHate" from the Bat Squad Mixtape along with Travie McCoy, Ax and Siya of Oxygen networks Sisterhood of Hip Hop. The song was recorded in the legendary Hit Factory (Miami).
Dante has his own production company called V4texx Music Group (V4MG/pronounced Vortex). He digitally released the single "You Don't Belong" feat. Corey Lee, to a worldwide audience July 2014. In 24 hours the song was featured on various music blogs, landing him national air play and a magazine feature in Hip Hop Weekly (Aug '14 issue). Dante followed up with the single "Abandoned” which made iTunes high Popularity list in 2 days. The song did well and garnered a very respectable amount of attention. It is currently available on all musical platforms, including iHeartRadio, Tidal, and many more. In October 2015, Dante's song "I See You," was released on various music sites, featured on numerous blogs as well as a few hardcopy magazines. In March 2016, Dante released his debut "The Rare Album," to a sold out concert at The Rotunda in Philadelphia, PA. The entire project was written, performed and produced by the artist himself.
