My business card says that I’m a consultant, and that the company I am part of can offer you “inspired strategy”.

But in all reality, there’s much more to me — I'm a marketer, an entrepreneur, a tech geek (seriously, ask me about the latest gadgets, Tesla’s latest car or that new feature on Snapchat) and a boxing newbie.

I'm also a big believer in the power of an emotional experience – let’s not call it branding anymore, because truthfully we need to do more in order to succeed in 2016.

When you, or I or anyone else buys something, whether a beer, a car, or the LA Lakers franchise we make that decision based on feeling, our “gut” and the emotional experience that purchase will give us.

We buy when that message we are receiving comes from an emotional place: it may remind you of the family you haven’t seen in a long time; that time you had the world at your feet, or when you were on your knees; your kid you couldn’t spend the weekend with because of a business trip – that moment when you stop in your tracks, even though it’s final call for your flight, and get your kid that M&M gift bag.

My work in marketing tackles exactly that: to help brands develop a meaningful, deliverable & defendable strategy around an impactful message, and deliver it at the right time and place, to the right people.
