A friendly and reliable shooter/editor with a First Class BA in Media Practice.

Having spent the best part of three years in the Broadcast department at Comic Relief, I have industry experience in a wide variety of areas as a result of helping to deliver content - broadcast and online - for two Red Nose Day and two Sport Relief campaigns.

I worked my way up from assisting with edits to acting as a junior editor in my own right, and from running on shoots to frequently being the sole camera operator on them. I have consistently been across the delivery of this content, both within the organisation (including publishing to social) and outside of it, to the likes of the BBC or NBC. I have also been our point of contact for incoming deliverables post-TX from such external parties

Simultaneously I have acted as our team's technical production assistant, being responsible for managing the kit, the edit suites, setting up shoots, all incoming rushes and media back up and our vast thirty-year archive. In addition to this I have consistently provided admin support to our production team in various ways, from assisting with call sheets, carnets and visas to facilitating footage sales to external companies.

However my primary passion is visual content as I have an incredibly strong eye for detail, design and composition. I really enjoy filming and photography - and learning about cameras and cinematography - in addition to experimenting with video editing and motion graphics (being most experienced in the Adobe suite, primarily Premiere/Photoshop/After Effects).

Prior to Comic Relief I acted as an edit assistant, with clients including John Lewis, Morrisons and Jigsaw, and as a runner on various commercial shoots. I was also a student at the University of Sussex where I was a member of our award-winning student television network UniTV and the DOP, editor and co-writer of my final year short film 'The Long Night Stand'.

I’m a fast learner and a great team player with a wealth of creativity waiting to be tapped. In addition to photography, in my spare time I enjoy travelling, going to the gym and, of course, watching many hours of television.
