I am a student from the heart of Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo. I currently live in Atlanta, GA and I'm a student at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School.

My driving force in life are the 5 values I hold at the center of my life: strength and resilience, family, achievement and success, wisdom, and nationalism. Each of these ideals have unique reasons as to why they are immensely valued in my life. Strength and resilience because although we may encounter obstacles that seem impossible in life, we keep persisting and persevering to move past them. That's strength and resilience. Family is the reason for my existence, the reason for my strength, and the reason for my ambition. I believe that a life is complete when some measure of achievement and success is attained. That value and belief has impacted my personal mantra: things only seem hardest when you've reached the border of achieving some measure of success. Wisdom is one of my ideals because to me the ability to be wise is the avulity to discern, process, and interpret matters and situations past their surface appearance, and that's a quality that I strive to have. Lastly, I bleed yellow, red, and blue. Being from the DRC is something I wear and hold with pride and it has made me the strong nationalist I believe I am.

I believe in being the leader and never the follower. To me, in order to be a good leader one must have many abilities, the most important one being the ability to complile each of the followers' strengths for the overall success of everyone involved. According to the Gallup Strengths Finder 2.0, strengths that distinguish me as a leader are intellection, restorative, and adaptability.
