Dany Yonan
Illinois native Dany Yonan spent seven years playing professional soccer for teams in the city of Chicago. Yonan began his professional career with the Chicago Power, an indoor soccer team that competed in the National Professional Soccer League. The team realized success in Dany Yonan’s first two seasons, winning the league title one year and finishing in the semifinals the next. After playing with the Power for several seasons, Yonan joined the Chicago Stingers, subsequently known as the Chicago Sockers. Playing the striker position, Yonan was a lethal scorer and earned a nomination as an All-Star on two occasions. In addition, he led the Stingers in scoring and was named the team captain. Dany Yonan played his college soccer at the University of Illinois Springfield, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Since retiring from the sport, he has built a successful career in the financial services and insurance industry. Aside from his degree, Yonan possesses several industry licenses, including Series 6 and Series 63. He started his financial career with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he completed the retirement plans wholesaler training program and garnered his initial insight into the business. Dany Yonan then joined OneAmerica/American United Life Insurance Company, where he spent a decade gaining vast experience into retirement plans. Consistently recognized as a top sales performer, Yonan received an award as the company’s top national producer in 2002. In 2007, Dany Yonan became the Regional Director in the Midwest for ING U.S. Retirement Services. After being recognized with the Breakthrough Performance of the Year Award in his first nine months with the company, Dany Yonan received a promotion to Regional Vice President of Sales. In this position, he markets the company’s all-inclusive retirement packages to financial advisors. He also utilizes his diverse leadership experience to conduct speaking engagements and publish self-help articles.
