Growing up in a small town in Iowa, I learned a lot of values about life that I don't think I otherwise would have. I grew up 7 miles West of Des Moines in a small town of Adel, Iowa.

Growing up in Adel, Iowa I enjoyed living on a golf course and spending time with my beautiful sister, Buphie. Some might look at Buphie and notice that she has a disibility. Yes, Buphie does have a disibility...Down syndrome. Although Buphie has Down syndrome, I have always tried to keep our relationship as normal as possible. She has taught me so many qualities about life, that nobody else has. She is the person who pushes me to do things in life that I never thought were possible.

Spending so much quality time with Buphie, I knew that I wanted to work with individuals with special needs. As soon as Buphie graduated from high school, she started getting services through Link Associates. As of today, I continue to provide services to Buphie as well as another friend. I have the passion and desire to change society's view on these individuals. I am a strong supporter of GiGi's Playhouse in which I find my greatest strength with helping those who don't know about how life can really change when you be-friend a friend with Down syndrome.

I not only have a strong passion for working with individuals with special needs, but I have strong passion for helping those in Iowa find a home of their dreams. Six years ago I became a licensed real estate agent. My license is currently held at Keller Williams Realty GDM in Clive, Iowa. I love to work with both buyers and sellers. I have obtained by SRS designation and enjoy helping first time home buyers through the process of purchasing their first home! If you know of somebody looking to buy, sell or invest in real estate...I would love the opportunity to be interviewed!

I currently reside in Kelley, Iowa where I enjoy spending my free time with my boyfriend, Tim. We purchased our first home together in August of 2013! I also enjoy knitting, crocheting, crafting, reading, golfing, camping, cooking, attending church, hiking, traveling, watching football & basketball, supporting the Iowa State Cyclones and most of all volunteering. Is there anything I don't enjoy doing? I don't enjoy sitting around and doing nothing.

My goal in life is to meet as many people as I can, help as many people as I can and to be a part of the communities in which I live.
