Daphne Semakaleng Mphaga is an experienced marketing professional with 14 years of marketing experience in both the private and public sectors.

Having worked as a Marketing Manager for reputable brands such as Internet Solutions, MWEB Business, and IIE Rosebank College, Mphaga is highly-skilled at linking consumer behavior with effective marketing strategies needed for brands to stay relevant - even during turbulent financial times.

Mphaga currently holds the position of National Marketing Manager at Rosebank College, a brand of The Advtech Group – a JSE limited company. In this role, Mphaga is responsible for strategy development and implementation; budget development and control; brand and communications as well as staff management.

In her three years as National Marketing Manager at Rosebank College, Mphaga has played an instrumental role in the brand being voted the coolest college in Mzansi for two years in a row, increasing student numbers through the various marketing activations initiated by the marketing department, increasing brand awareness while also leading the marketing team to perform at optimum levels.

Mphaga thrives in challenging fast paced environments where her project management, creativity, marketing, and brand management experience can directly influence how products and services are communicated and delivered to consumers and businesses. Mphaga is a firm believer in ethics and good corporate citizenship, which has seen her develop a reputation as an ethical leader and mentor. Mphaga holds a BCom Marketing Management degree from the University of Johannesburg as well as an Honours in Business Management degree specialising in Marketing from the University of South Africa. Mphaga also completed the prestigious Leading Women: leadership course at GIBS. Her desire is to start her own mentorship program.
