Darby Shade

I am currently a second year public relations student at the University of Lincoln and, at present, am seeking a work placement for a year in industry beginning in 2014. I have great willing and ability to learn and engage in new areas, and am fully focused on continually developing my understanding and capabilities within the field of PR and communications.

Aside of university life, I enjoy all things entertainment – showbiz, television, music, and films. A big love of mine is social media and the Internet – I just love to see what everyone in the world is talking about. As well as this, I have a keen interest in travelling, some may call it wanderlust. Recently, I was able to travel to America and spend the summer working on a summer camp over there – this was an experience of a lifetime and it opened my eyes as to how much is out there to see and explore. My list of places to see and go is ever-growing, I just hope that I get the chance to explore.
